Also a Tesco Express and Dominoes Pizza on a small retail plot at the junction of Wilsthorpe Road and Cranfleet Way. Around the corner there's a tanning salon and a Chinese take-away and possibly something else.

This small group of shops on the junction of Cranfleet Way and Wilsthorpe includes a Tesco Express and George's, an award-winning chip shop and restaurant.

Wilsthorpe Road
At the junction with Cranfleet Way. The Wilsthorpe Meadows housing estate is finally filling-in the semi-circle formed by Cranfleet way and Pennyfields Boulevard. The construction started at least seven years ago.

This area is often used as a fair-ground and vehicle park. Today there's just one low-loader, which has probably just delivered a traction engine to the Steam Fair.

Dunn Drive
On the Wilsthorpe Meadows estate. These houses have been built at least two years now and for all of that time have looked out onto a building site as the area between them and Wilsthorpe Road is filled-in. Progress on the completion of the estate has been slow, probably due to the economic climate.
