Canal Closed
The Erewash Canal is closed for maintenance. The barrier erected to allow a 30 metre or so stretch to be drained can be seen in the distance near to the new block of retirement apartments.

Long Eaton Off-shots

I always called it The Nelson - because it's on the corner of Nelson Street.
