Corner House pub, Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne
The Corner House pub, located at the corner of Heaton Road and Stephenson Road (also known as The Coast Road).
The blinds were drawn and doors locked as the pub was forced to close due to government restrictions placed on the country to control the spread of the COVID-19 infectious disease which affected the country in the early part of 2020.

Coast Road Cycleway near the Corner House, Newcastle upon Tyne
A segregated cycleway for the use of pedestrians and cyclists in the east end of Newcastle upon Tyne. This path, which follows the A1058 Coast Road is one of the main cycle routes into the city from the east.
