Two 19th century cottages, built in 1844 in Tudor style. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.

Valley of Biddlestone Burn
The lower slopes of Cold Law are on the other side of the valley with the red rock of Harden Quarry clearly visible. The forest plantation around the lower part of the valley has been recently felled, opening up a view of Biddlestone Chapel still surrounded by trees.

On a 20-mile walk from Wooler to Alwinton on the Inn Way to Northumberland...the longest walk I've done for years, and with a sore foot to boot.
