Old sluice gate at Linzford
This would have been used to control the flow of water from the mill race in the days when there was a watermill here.

Lintzford bridge
The old 18 century bridge over the River Derwent near Rowlands Gill. It was built to replace the ford from which this place gets its name. Note the lightening holes in the masonry.
