John Reid Road!! Great North Run
If you've ever tried this event you'll know John Reid Road's gentle ascent, when you're approaching 9 miles, is a killer of your ambition to get a good time. Walkers now towards the back of the field, but even the front runners find it hard.

Karaoke on the run!
Some of us get short of breath just running without singing all the way as well!
The karaoke man takes his mind off the running by making himself hoarse as he cheers fellow runners on the way from Newcastle to South Shields in the Great North Run.
