The entrance drive to Throckley House is on the left. This lane is probably on the route of a former colliery waggonway leading to the west. Its level has been embanked and is higher than the field behind the trees on the left.

South Farm, Throckley
South Farm was originally built by the Greenwich Royal Maritime Trust in 1865 as a 'model farm'. It is being redeveloped by Juice DBT Ltd. to provide 5 dwellings. 'The Old Mill', with 4 bedrooms upstairs, will incorporate a kitchen in the former gin gang.
