Pelaw Station
The Metro Station at Pelaw. The train is bound for South Shields. At Pelaw, Metro services out of Sunderland and South Shields meet, there are also main line tracks (non stopping) right. The weedy track in the middle was about to be occupied by a Grand Central HST.

Railway tracks at Pelaw. The four tracks in the centre of the image are part of the national railway network. They are maintained and controlled by Network Rail. To the left of the image is a track and station platform which are part of the Tyne & Wear metro system.
