Crouch Hill
The northern end of this street close to Crouch End Broadway and the bottom of the hill. A W7 bus descends on route to Muswell Hill Broadway passing The Harringay Arms public house. Behind is the spire on Church Studios. Converted from Park Chapel, a Congregational Church which was merged with Ferme Park Baptist Church in 1974, the studios have been home to Bura and Hardwick - the animators of children's TV shows including Trumpton, Camberwick Green and Captain Pugwash. Subsequently they have been home to Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox who, as the Eurhythmics, completed recording their debut album there. The W7 bus, operated by Metroline, is an ADL Enviro 400.

Taken on a particularly sunny day, the effect was not intentional but just how it looked at the time.

6 The Broadway Crouch End N8
This 1850 property is home to the popular Dunns bakery and the golden wheatsheaf on the upper pediment is a lovely feature. It is one of the original village buildings: that to the left is part of the 1930's Hornsey Town Hall buildings and that to the right is part of the 1880's development of the modern Crouch End. It's a little gem and I'm surprised it survived the historic developments on either side.

Crouch Hill And Floral Hall
Looking down Crouch Hill from close to the junction with Haringey Park. To the right of centre is Floral Hall, an antique dealer. On the left is Church Studios - Converted from Park Chapel, a Congregational Church which was merged with Ferme Park Baptist Church in 1974, the studios have been home to Bura and Hardwick - the animators of children's tv shows including Trumpton, Camberwick Green and Captain Pugwash.
