Crouch End
View down Crouch End Hill, the A103, towards Broadway where it meets Crouch Hill the A1201. The delivery motorbikes all belong to Too Too Moo a Pan Asian Restaurant. All the drivers of the motor bikes seem to be Learner drivers with "L" plates.

Crouch End Hill, N8
These finely proportioned attractive shops with accommodation above are typical of many of the buildings that line the main roads in Crouch End. This is a block of five with the furthest one in buff part of the set. The third floor dormer windows are of two designs. The road is the A103 Crouch End Hill.

Traffic light pad on Coleridge Road, Crouch End
I haven't seen one of these for ages but someone found it on another site. They were used to detect cars approaching the traffic lights before they used radar, and this is no longer in use as the road is now one way so cannot approach Crouch End Broadway in that direction and there are no lights there either as the traffic only enters the road now.

The Harringay Arms pub Crouch End
The Harringay Arms pub lies in the old district of Hornsey Borough whereas the district of Harringay lay mostly in the old Tottenham Borough district. All are now safely gathered up in the London Borough of Haringey. This pub is one of only two in Crouch End that I have never entered and I can't for the life of me think why; it has such an attractive appearance.

Post Office direction sign, Crouch End
A rare sighting, in a front garden (!), of Post Office direction sign, once a common item of street furniture. More at this http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:BLW_Post_Office_Direction_Sign_(1).jpg
