Entrance to Hornsey station
The Great Northern Railway opened its line between Maiden Lane and Peterborough through what is now Hornsey on 7th August 1850. Hornsey station opened on the same day. The facilities on the platforms and the footbridge are modern, but this entrance on Tottenham Lane is Victorian.

Platform 1 (the closest one) is for trains going towards London. The station is often unstaffed but there are CCTV cameras -- you might just notice the white cowl near the bottom of the stairs.
