Former cinema, Holloway Road
Built as the Savoy Cinema to the designs of ABC architect William Riddell Glen, opening in February 1940. Two changes of name followed, first the ABC, and later the Coronet. Clock tower, Holloway Road
A working public clock is a rare phenomenon these days. Happily, this one, above the former Jones Brothers premises on Holloway Road still functions.
