Caledonian Road underground station
The large semi-circular arches and oxblood tiles are typical of the stations designed by Leslie Green in the early years of the 20th century. (For links to other Green-designed stations, see Image) Notice, on the lamp-post, a sign from the London Borough of Islington announcing its new policy of a borough-wide default speed limit of 20 miles per hour rather than the usual 30 mph.

Caledonian Road tube station, Caledonian Road, N7
The station was opened on 15 December 1906 by the Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway. The building was designed by Leslie Green in so-called Edwardian Baroque style. It has lifts, not escalators, and, unusually for stations of its era, the lifts descend directly to platform level with no secondary staircases, which means that the station is "Step Free". The station is Grade II listed https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1401086 . My photos of the tube station are at http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=69223254 .
