University of North London - Lancashire boilers
This is now London Metropolitan University. In 1993 it had two oil-fired Lancashire boilers and a W H Allen high-speed (enclosed) steam engine along with a pair of Weir steam boiler feed pumps. The engine was removed in about 2002 and I very much doubt the boilers would remain in use now.

University of North London - Weir boiler feed pumps
Now the London Metropolitan University. In 1993 it had a pair of Lancashire boilers, a W H Allen steam engine and this pair of Weir single cylinder non-rotative steam boiler feed pumps. They usually came in pairs to provide redundancy. In the background are more modern, duplicated electric feed pumps.

London Metropolitan University on Holloway Road
This began as the Polytechnic of North London before it became a university of the same name, and now London Metropolitan since merging with the City of London University. I studied at the Highbury branch on and off from 1979-84 and finished with a law degree. It was officially Britain's lowest ranked university last time I checked, despite having the country's best plastics laboratory at the ground floor of the old building to the right of here until it was shut down.
