Holloway Road by night
A combination of Christmas lights and a dusting of snow gives a festive feel to this, otherwise undistinguished, stretch of Holloway Road coming up to the Camden Road/Tollington Road junction. This was a bitterly cold night and the snow, while never more than a light covering in London, was to cause significant problems across parts of the home counties.

Food on the move, Holloway

Tollington Road, approaching the junction with Holloway Road
The junction of Tollington Road and Holloway Road, as seen on the sign, is called the Nag's Head junction, presumably after a now-gone pub. The Holloway Road forms part of the A1 Great North Road out of London towards Edinburgh.
