Holloway Road
A 153 bus stops to collect passengers outside Holloway Road station on the Piccadilly Line. The station, designed by Leslie Green, carries the initials of the railway company that built the line - the Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway. The station is one of several that are close to Arsenal FC's stadium and is unable to cope with the volume of traffic on match days. When there is a home fixture, the station is made exit only.
The 153 bus routes from Liverpool Street Station to Finsbury Park Station and is operated by CT Plus - the public transport arm of Hackney Community Transport. The vehicle in the photo is a Caetano Nimbus bodied Dennis Dart.
