This station was opened on the 22nd day of October 1908 by S. J. G. Hoare Esq. JP, Chairman of the Fire Brigade Committee of the London County Council. Closed in 1975.

This church was built in 1865-7 by Truefitt. It was converted to a theatre in 1973-6. It is now being restored and is again becoming a place of christian worship.
The road to the left of the church is Carleton Road.
