Multicolour Houses
A small group of terraced houses on Bakers Lane, each painted a different colour. The car in the foreground is on the northbound A1.

Springfield Cottages
Located on the west side of North Hill, these were built in 1877. Handy for public transport with a bus stop right outside.

Lantern Show
Lantern provide heavy breakdown services. Here, one of their drivers struggles to locate the towbar in the correct place on the underside of a dead 234 bus.

Kenwood Road and Bakers Lane
Houses on Bakers Lane at the junction with Kenwood Road. Bakers Lane is a three lane section of the A1 at its junction with the A1000 and North Hill. The elderly lady is about to start the climb up North Hill - on a hot afternoon it won't be a pleasant walk.
