Flats on Highbury New Park
This is a typical council block from the 1930s-40s with outside corridors to each flat. The curved balconies appear art deco while the windows may have been replaced but look more from the 50s or so.

Canonbury Station, looking west
There are four tracks through this station. The two southerly tracks, (not visible here) are electrified third-rail, and carry trains to and from the East London line. These have their terminus at Highbury and Islington, the next station to the west. The northerly pair of tracks are electrified 25kV overhead, and carry trains from Richmond and Clapham Junction to Stratford at the eastern end. Here a train is seen just leaving for Richmond.

Canonbury railway station, Greater London
Opened in 1870 on the North London Railway's line from Dalston to Willesden Junction, this station replaced an earlier 1858 one some 350m behind the camera position - see Image View west towards Highbury & Islington and Willesden, towards the end of the 2010 rebuild of the station which returned it to four platforms.
