Hornsey Parish marker 1887
Parish boundary marker set into kerbstone on the edge of Finsbury Park showing where the old Parish of Hornsey ended and Tottenham started. It would doubtless shock many living in this ever more trendy and expensive area around Green lanes that they are actually in Tottenham. Few I imagine would even notice the boundary marker.

Finsbury Park, Baseball and softball diamonds
As seen from a path from New River Gate into the park.
This large open space is for use of 'The London Meteorites', better known as the London Mets, who are a British baseball team who play in the southern section of the BBF National League. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Mets.
Although this afternoon it is being used by a group of footballers!

Most parts of the artificial watercourse are walkable (via the New River Path), unfortunately this section in Haringey is not. The path diverts via Wrightman Road.
