Parking Puzzle, Green Lanes, N4
Try working this one out in a hurry. The restrictions on the other side of the road apply at different times, too. Parking violations are enforced by camera and by very attentive parking attendants. In practice it's so difficult to find parking round here that it's far better to come by public transport if you can.

As well as fruit, vegetables and groceries, this shop has a bakery on site. The baklavas (Middle Eastern pastries) are truly delicious -- an extra one is never enough. See the counter here Image Although it's Good Friday the streets are busy. The day has little significance for the Muslim majority, while for much of the Eastern Orthodox church Easter is still 5 weeks away this year.

Baklava on sale at Yasar Halim
It's all the same price (£7.50 per kg) so you just pick and mix. However much you buy you'll always wish you'd bought more... it's amazing how fast it disappears when you get it home. Here's the outside view of the shop Image
