The upper Stone reads:
These Almshouses were endowed by Judge Fuller 1591.

The lower stone reads:
These 12 Houses were Built by the Gift of Jon Fuller Esq. for poor widows of this parish aged 50 and Endowed them with 50 p:annum for ever.
