A part of the main shopping area is now closed to traffic and the road is used as an area for the many cafes that located there.

The Green, Winchmore Hill
Shops on the eastern end of The Green at the junction with Wilson Street, on the right, and Station Road. The modern wood panelling on the corner shop is at odds with its faded name and the tobacconist's labels in the glazed area above the panelling.
