The wicket gate is at the start of a public footpath to Holcombe Hill. The bus stop is called West End House, and is regularly served by route 251.

Green on Totteridge Common
As the large houses only have names and not numbers Totteridge Lane was split into a number of different road names rather than number the houses to make them easier to locate.

Fairlawn, Totteridge Common
A sprawling grade II listed building, oldest part 17th century but with many later additions and alterations. What can be seen of the near block is in poor condition, which may be the reason for the hoarding.
