Now residential, at least above. Its inn sign still hangs, although in poor condition.

Former Duchess of Kent
Former private social club in Half Moon Crescent, serving railway staff from Kings Cross Station. Originally dating from the 1850s, it was purchased by a new owner in 1997, with the aim of opening it to the public. However it was not until the early 2000s that a licence was granted, but the business didn't prove viable, closing in February 2004. It has since been used as a storage building by its owners, who run a specialist chair business. Since 2016 there have been a number of proposals to redevelop the site.

Wynford Road, Pentonville
An estate of modern flats has been built around this stretch of Wynford Road, including an usual 'half-moon' block, which is why the estate is administered by the Half Moon Tenants' Cooperative whose headquarters are in the community centre in this view.

Path above Islington Tunnel
The walking route from one end of Islington Tunnel to the other has to be over the top, as there is no towpath. It is not at all direct, using many streets, and not very well signed. This path probably is the best walking route at first, but it was not signed, although a road route round this estate was. The signed route was probably for cycles.
