Priory Green Estate, Collier Street
Although regarded by Pevsner as the "least satisfactory of Tecton's Finsbury estates" due to it being "compromised by cost-cutting", it is nevertheless better than most. There are four lower blocks at right angles to three taller blocks (and three more beyond the one seen here). Dreary deck access (right), the other sides (left and ahead) much more animated, displaying Lubetkin's fondness for patterns. By Skinner, Bailey and Lubetkin, 1947-57.

Coat of arms, Wynford Road
On the Priory Green Estate. What does it represent? I thought it must be the Borough of Finsbury, for whom the estate was built, but that does not seem to be the case.
