S & M Cafe, Islington
S & M in this context stands for sausage and mash; this is one of a small chain of London restaurants that specialise in 'Great British Grub' - something of a rarity in a city with every variety of ethnic restaurant imaginable. As part of their ethos they restore cafe premises to their traditional look, and this branch on Essex Road has a delightfully '50s feel - even down to the check tablecloths.

Creeping foliage in St Peter Street
This was an experimental photo simply as the little tripod fitted on the wall, and was just trying various angles to see the results. As well as the ivy there were three nice little flowers on the bottom.
