Industrial Area, Edmonton
For about a mile, between the A406 North Circular Road and Stonebridge Lock the riverside cycle and pedestrian route along the Lea goes through an industrial area (shown). It is not the most attractive part of the route.

Towpath Road, Edmonton
Beyond the metal gate is Towpath Road. This road provides access to a number of sites along the canal bank. The chimney ahead is part of a waste incineration plant.
The towpath here is part of National Cycle Network route 1.
