West Green Road in Seven Sisters, in the suburbs of north London. This road forms the easternmost part of the route of the A504. Road markings and roadside signs indicate that a speed limit of 20 miles per hour applies on this road.

View southward, at junction with West Green Road. This northern entrance to the Victoria Line Underground station, which was opened 9/68, also connects with Seven Sisters Station on the ex-GER suburban lines - see Image] etc.

West Green Road Major Closure View East
West Green Road has been closed at the junction with Tottenham High Road while a gas main is replaced. The work could take two months and the 41 bus is now on diversion via Philip Lane adding yet more time to an already insufferably slow journey

The graffiti on the glossy propaganda boards put up to welcome the redevelopment at Wards Corner suggests that some are not at all happy with the social changes and gentrification of an area where housing is now unaffordable.
