Scarlet Oak avenue in Oakwood Park, N14
Near the Willow Walk entrance to Oakwood Park there is an avenue of Scarlet Oaks which were planted annually by the Mayor, first of Southgate when it was a separate borough, and then Enfield, when the boroughs were combined. Here we see them in summer. Image] shows the trees in autumn.
