The Wishing Well Public House, Chase Side, London N14
The Wishing Well public house is situated at the end of the parade of shops on the north side of Chase Side. In the 1950s/1960s there was a haberdashery shop called Grendons and a hardware shop on this site.

The New Crown, Southgate
The New Crown on Chase Side was opened as a branch of the J. D. Wetherspoon chain in January 1996. The building once served as a Sainsbury's supermarket. It was named after an earlier pub called The Crown which was located opposite the current building and was demolished in the 1960s.
