The end (or the beginning?) of Chase Side. Southgate Station is to the right outside the image with Southgate Circus straight ahead. I didn't notice it at the time, but there is a very clear image of an aeroplane near the top of the image in the centre.

The Sun public house, Chase Side, London N14
The Sun public house is situated near Southgate Station. It used to be called "The Rising Sun", but recently had a makeover and is now called "The Sun" and is part of the Mazeinn group of public houses/inns. To the left of The Sun is a pathway through to Crown Lane.

Access road, Chase Side, London N14
Access road between two parades of shops on the north side of Chase Side. There used to be a small industrial estate behind the shops, but as you can see that has now gone and there is a large housing estate, mainly apartment blocks.

Chase Side, London, N14
Looking along the pavement on the north side of Chase Side. Behind the hoarding is a new development of shops, which replaced some very old buildings which were not on the current building line. From what I can see the new development looks to be very sympathetic towards what was already there. Interestingly though, although the building is the same height they have managed to squeeze in another two floors.
