In the 1950s/1960s this shop was a local department store called Evans and Davies. It is now called Triangle House.

Triangle House, Palmers Green
The promising looking pediment was examined for a building date, but there is nothing there. Although much earlier there was a house on the site, from the 1930s to at least about 1960 the site was vacant. The building appears in views c1965, although looking like an older style.
