Ornate pub from the 1850s, formerly the Marquess of Granby according to the listing information.
However, The Marquess of Northampton was the local big-wig for this area as well, so it may be him.

The "New River" east of Willow Bridge Road, N1
The New River http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_River_(England) originally ran through what is now a "linear park" between Canonbury Road and St. Paul's Road; this section is now artificially maintained with water. [The New River itself currently ends in Stoke Newington.]
