Tree reflections at New River Walk
These photos were taken on a bright, sunny day in early December. There was a slight chill in the air, but the day featured a near cloudless pale blue sky.

Canonbury Park South, Canonbury
Leafy Canonbury. Canonbury Park South was originally built up in the 1840s with substantial villas - those on the right of the street back on to the New River. Canonbury was an early candidate for gentrification, a process which has spread across the borough of Islington, and is nowadays a highly sought after district.

New River Walk reflections
Between the busy main roads of St Pauls Road to the north, and Canonbury Road to the south, lies this walk with a footpath alongside a water channel. Today it was a place of tranquil beauty. The entrance to it could easily be missed by the casual passer-by.
