Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate
Leading down the hill from Betstyle Circus towards East Barnet. The bus stop is served by route 382 between Southgate Station and Millbrook Park.

Betstyle Circus
Taking its name from the village that existed in this area, nowadays it is part of New Southgate.
A transit van hurtles around the roundabout - it's a popular racetrack. Behind, a new apartment block has been completed (I'll add the name when I've had time to confirm it).

Brunswick Park Road
The road descends into a valley that was probably created by a tributary of Pymmes Brook - the stream on the North Middlesex Golf Course seems a likely candidate.
At the bottom it passes New Southgate Recreation Ground before climbing again to a summit beside New Southgate Cemetery, hidden in the trees on the horizon.

New Southgate Telephone Exchange
Situated in Marconi Place N11 1PE, this TE serves New Southgate plus Friern Barnet nearby. It used to have ENTerprise numbers until the late 1960s, but now has 0208-361 and 368 xxxx numbers, plus some Outer London numbers. The original building can be seen to the right of the photo with the words "TELEPHONE EXCHANGE" above the entrance door. Above the wall to the left of the photo can be seen barbed wiring presumably to prevent unauthorised access to the TE area. Also, a BT warning notice can be seen on the wall below a 5 mph speed limit notice.
