The Arnos Arms
A large Brewer's Tudor style pub near to Arnos Grove underground station. Recently much improved by planting a lot of flowers and getting rid of the austere corporate livery of the Harvester chain as seen in this picture from April 2017. Image According to Wikipedia, the name Arnos is derived from a Norman French family the Arnolds whose estates were here. Almost certainly they would have had a heraldic coat of arms.
