Emerald Court, Brickhill Drive
These buildings were formerly part of Pilgrim School - a grammar school that became a comprehensive but was eventually closed in the early'80s because of a surplus of upper schools in the town. Now providing office accommodation, current occupants include the Registry Office.

The junction of Brickhill Drive and Larkway.
Bedford endeavours to be a cycle-friendly town and has made a particular effort in the newer suburbs of Brickhill and Putnoe to provide cycle paths and other facilities to encourage residents to use cycles rather than cars. At this busy intersection sensors in the cycle path ensure that the traffic lights give priority to cyclists travelling to and from Bedford Park.

Footpath and cycle track to Brickhill Drive
From Bedford Park. For cyclists, using this route through Bedford Park is a good alternative to main roads. I used to cycle this way to school in the 1960's.
