Railway bridge over Selbourne Avenue
The bridge over Selbourne Avenue which leads to allotments and a cemetery. Since this picture was taken, the embankments have been cleared and the bridge repaired in readiness for double track to be laid. This is part of the East West Railway project, which will see 100mph trains passing en route from Milton Keynes to Oxford.

Selbourne Avenue railway bridge
This bridge, across Selbourne Avenue in West Bletchley has been refurbished for East West Railway for its new services between Milton Keynes and Oxford. Noise screens are being installed along the line to protect local residents from any undue noise. Notice how the local graffiti artists have already been at work on the new concrete abutments of the bridge!
