The bridge over Selbourne Avenue which leads to allotments and a cemetery. Since this picture was taken, the embankments have been cleared and the bridge repaired in readiness for double track to be laid. This is part of the East West Railway project, which will see 100mph trains passing en route from Milton Keynes to Oxford.
