St. Martin's, Dunton
The parish church of St. Martin in Dunton dates originally from the C12th, though it has had many alterations since. It stands a little way off from the cluster of houses that makes up the village and perhaps also served as the church for the nearby deserted mediæval village of Lidcote.

Path from Dunton to Cublington
The path leaves Dunton by a very narrow alleyway between houses in Park Close. Then it runs downhill through this grass field.

St Martin's church, Dunton
The nave was built in C12, the chancel in C13 and the tower in C15. A lot of the structure was rebuilt in the late C18.

Dunton church
St. Martin's is a grade II*(star) listed building, 12th and 13th centuries, 15th century tower, all with late 18th century 'restoration'.
