Old Milestone by the A2, London Road, Cellar Hill, Teynham parish
Metal plate attached to concrete post by the A2, in parish of Teynham (Swale District), London Road, opposite Cellar Hill, by No. 3, in pavement back to low stone boundary wall, on North side of road. Dover Road facet, erected by the Chatham & Canterbury turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : CANTERBURY / 12 Miles : : LONDON / 43 Miles : Kent HER.
