Power plant near Kemsley
A biomass power plant built by a German company, MVV Energie, at Ridham Dock - still very new, building work was not finished. It will "use old and waste timber to generate electricity and heating energy".

Footpath onto Sea Wall
This footpath leads along a raised earth bank to a sea wall on the Swale. The concrete gateposts were originally an entrance to Ridham Docks but now used as an entrance to Scrapyard (one of many works within the dockyard site).
