Footpath works, Twydall
This path is beside Beechings Way.
The old slab path is being replaced in sections by a new thin tarmac path laid over a rolled stone path.
This is less likely to crack due to the nearby large trees (and associated roots!).

The Will Adams NHS Treatment Centre
In Featherby Road. Opened in August 2005.
Named after Will Adams, the Gillingham born, Elizabethan Samurai nobleman, he is a contemporary of Sir Francis Drake. He is still revered in Japan as 'the Blue-eyed Samurai' and founder of the Japanese Navy. He is the 'Shogun' original of the popular television serial drama, and the James Clavell novel of that name.

Retail Park and Fast Food, Cornwallis Roundabout
The Drive-Thru McDonald's is doing a brisk trade today. There are at least 6 McDonald's restaurant within a few miles of here and plenty of other similar places too.
