A former entrance to Chattenden Barracks
Chattenden Lane runs through the former Chattenden Barracks. This is one of the old entrances to the barracks leading off Chattenden Lane. The barracks closed in the 1980s. For more information see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chattenden

Bishop Gundulp Church
On junction of Chattenden Lane and Kitchener Road.
Opposite Chattenden Primary School.
Looks like a military bunker, strange. Entrance almost hidden from most sides. Only path gives an idea where entrance is.
Note; Bishop Gundulf was William the Conqueror's Bishop / Architect.
