Owl on Pylon - or is it?
On the corner of Gighill Road and Chaucer Way in Lunsford, a pylon stands - but this pylon has a difference. On top of the structure, several times while passing I've noticed an owl perched there. Closer inspection reveals that the owl is artificial and wobbles about unrealistically in the wind. There to frighten other birds perhaps?

Footpath junction on Leybourne Lakes near Gighill Road
A circular walk around the lake in the Country Park leads left. Another path leads right towards the Leybourne Way opposite Gighill Road.
