Looking along King Street, West Malling
West Malling was established shortly after 1100 and today's town centre retains its medieval plan with many 17th and 18th century facades hiding much older buildings. This view is towards the northern end and looks along King Street towards where it meets High Street.

West Malling Village Sign
On the High Street. Has small plaque on the post which reads "This sign was erected by the Malling Society on what remains of the village green, where the stocks, pound and cage once stood. Funds were raised through sponsored events, generous public donations, and the efforts of the children of West Malling Primary School. It was unveiled 14th July 1984 by Arthur Percival of the Civic Trust. Designed, carved and painted by V.Pataky and A. Protheroe".
