Woodland within urban area, Maidstone
A small remnant of the original woodland is preserved within the large Senacre housing estate on the eastern side of Maidstone in Kent. There are dense areas of housing on all four sides.

Wiles Shaw, looking south Uphill
Small Valley Woodland. Culvert on right carries storm water drains downhill away from the houses, either side of the valley. Woodland path beside culvert goes south to Woolley Road.
