Filming in Faversham
A shop is being transformed into "Carlton Lane Florist". I was told it was for an advertisement for Cadbury's chocolate. The area is cordoned off and is surrounded by lighting and other equipment in readiness for shooting. A nearby supermarket car park is half full of coaches, vans and a snack bar all, apparently, providing facilities and transport for the crew, possibly actors and other staff involved in the filming.

The Warm Heart Cafe is parked in Court Street and offers chilli dishes for the visitors. One of very many food venues at the festival, temporary and permanent. The annual festival has run since 1990 and attracts more entertainers, stall holders and visitors each year.

The Yarn Dispensary, 6 Market Place, Faversham
Looking festive in the run up to Christmas. Described by Pevsner as ‘the most ambitious medieval house in the town’, 6 Market Place bears the date 1240. The gilded pestle and mortar, restored and rehung above the entrance, and original shop fittings, are a reminder of its previous role as a pharmacy. It now sells wool and much more as well as holding workshops etc.
