Churchman's Farm, Kennaways
Licensed to crenellate? This odd building stands at the junction of Stalisfield Road with Throwley Road. The original house is 16th century with some early 19th century alterations - presumably the gothic windows and the battlements.

Common toadflax (Linaria vulgaris)
Classed as a noxious weed in some areas because it is so invasive, this specimen just looked a bit exotic, given the time of year. Growing by the heap of stones at the bottom of Kennaways drive http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/266050.

Pile of dressed stone
These are lying at the bottom of the driveway to Kennaways, a property marked as Kennaways Hospital on the 1940s map. I have been unable to find any information about this hospital and wonder if this pile of stones, some quite elaborately carved, is associated with an old building on the site.
